Terry Kiser and the Harrisonburg Construction team reconstructed the mansard dome that had been missing for over 50 years. Once completed it was topped with a flagpole to add a patriotic flourish to the Staunton City skyline.
The photo above shows the scaffold required to perform the exterior renovation portion of this Historic property.

American Hotel - Staunton, VA
The American Hotel was one of Staunton's earliest railroad hotel having been built in 1854. It was converted to warehouse use around 1900 and served that role until this recent renovation. It's recent renovation has transformed this previously decaying 30,000sf building into a mix of retail, restaurant and office space.
The interior finishes make the American Hotel another showplace of the Staunton's downtown revitalization efforts.
